meet THE TEAM

Terri Douglas, RN BSN MS CDP

Geriatric Care Manager

While working in western Michigan teaching hospitals as a Master prepared Exercise Physiologist, Terri realized her deeper ability to impact the health care system as a nurse and earned her degree in nursing.

Throughout her career as a nurse, she has worked at major teaching hospitals across the country, in critical care, inpatient and outpatient settings, patient education, physician practices, utilization review, case management, and skilled nursing facilities.

Terri’s extensive variety of experiences over the years offers her a unique background in which to approach elder care management.

Michelle Wimer

Senior Care Consultant

Michelle came to the realization that her life’s purpose was that of a caretaker nearly two decades ago while working for Butler County’s victim service agency.

Catherine Lacina MOT, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Catherine is a licensed Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience working with older adults in the home, personal care, and skilled nursing/long term care settings.

Catherine received her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Saint Francis University. Throughout her career she has worked with clients with a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and cognitive disorders providing a well founded background to approach geriatric care management. Catherine enjoys being part of an interdisciplinary team that puts client care first.

Joel Carroll, CNA

Senior Care Consultant

Joel is a licensed CNA with a diverse background. He got his start while living in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Emily Price, MSW

Geriatric Care Manager

Emily is a master’s level social worker born and raised in Pittsburgh with a passion for helping older adults in our area.

While receiving her masters Emily completed a geriatric certificate as a Hartford Scholar, a special program at the University of Pittsburgh for social workers looking to focus in geriatric care. She has worked in multiple geriatric settings and has experience assisting older adults with a variety of cognitive, financial and social needs. Emily is looking forward to bringing her social work knowledge to Elder Maze to assist the interdisciplinary team in tackling whatever needs may arise for our clients.

Jim Walker, MBA HM

Senior Care Consultant

Jim worked in healthcare management before coming to Elder Maze Solutions.
