Guardianship
Your advocate in aging.
For many, there comes a time when an aging loved one needs someone else to make decisions for them - legal, financial, and health related - that’s where a guardian comes into play.
A guardian is an advocate, a ward of the state that acts on behalf of your loved one, often once a Power of Attorney is no longer a sufficient means of support.
Generally, families choose the guardian of their loved to be someone who lives locally and has an understanding of both their personal situation and the healthcare, legal, and financial tools available to them.
If you believe you could use support in this way, or would like to learn if you need it, contact us to learn more about how we act as Guardian to your loved one in your stead: 412-486-6677.
